ABOUT THE EVENT
The 2023 Sing Out theme was Sing Out for Freedom: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Fabulous, and it highlighted the NYCLU’s work to protect all New Yorkers from discrimination, including work with New Yorkers for Equal Rights to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment and work with the ACLU Drag Defense Fund to defend LGBTQ+ Rights.
For 21 years, this concert has celebrated the achievements of the NYCLU and ACLU with song and speech from big stars and up-and-coming artists from Broadway and beyond.

The New York Civil Liberties Union (NYCLU) is one of the nation's foremost defenders of civil liberties and civil rights. Founded in 1951 as the New York affiliate of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), we are a not-for-profit, nonpartisan organization with offices across the state and more almost 150,000 supporters.
